India's NEET youth rate has declined from 30.8% in 2018 to 23.5% in 2023, but is projected to rise to 25.9% in 2024. 

Nearly 23.5% of Indian youth aged 15 to 24 are NEET (not in education, employment, or training) as of 2023, down from 30.8% in 2018, but projected to rise to 25.9% in 2024. This rate remains higher than the global average, despite improvements over the years.
