Stock Market Updates | Sensex Today: The domestic benchmark indices, Nifty 50 and Sensex, rose on Wednesday, achieving their largest single-day increase in more than six weeks after Donald Trump declared victory in the US presidential election, which analysts viewed as a short-term boost for domestic stocks.
The Nifty 50 climbed 1.12% to reach 24,484.05, while the Sensex increased by 1.13% to 80,378.13. Both indices recorded their strongest performance since September 20. This positive movement followed a decline of around 7% from the all-time highs recorded on September 27, attributed to unprecedented foreign outflows in October and lackluster corporate earnings.
