“India is a major voice on the world stage and major voice of the global south. One huge purpose of this Summit is actually to really to make sure that international cooperation represents and serves the people of the global south much more effectively than it has been doing so far. So, whether that's on Security Council reform and looking at how the Security Council functions or how the international financial architecture functions. India has been a huge voice in pushing for the kinds of change that this Summit holds to deliver," Griffin said.
PM Modi on Sunday addressed the Indian community in New York's Nassau Coliseum and called them India's 'strong' brand ambassador. The Prime Minister said that he has set very ambitious goals in his third term to make the country a developed nation and asserted that India today is a land of opportunities. The Prime Minister added that India doesn't want its supremacy in the world but to increase cooperation for the prosperity of the world.
The next Quad Leaders’ Summit hosted by India in 2025. Besides, Mumbai may host a Quad Regional Ports and Transportation Conference in 2025, a White House press release said.
PM Modi, who landed at Philadelphia International Airport, was welcomed by Indian community with cultural dance performances. The Prime Minister met US President Joe Biden on the sidelines of the Quad summit to deepen India-US relations. Modi will be hold bilateral meetings with other leaders as well and will be attending the Quad summit. He is also expected to meet US presidential candidate Donald Trump ahead of US elections in November.

If you got a ticket to the "Modi and US" programme at Nassau Coliseum on Sunday, then you must follow these instructions as stated by "Modi&US" official social media handle (mentioned below is the local time in the US):
1. Doors will open at 7:30 AM. To stagger entry, please plan to arrive early if you are traveling by car or live nearby.
2. The stage and cultural program will start at 10:00 AM. Doors will remain open until 11:00 AM.
3. There will also be a cultural program outside during the entry process. Security is very strict - no bags, food/ drink, banners, binoculars, or cameras (other than phones) will be allowed.
4. Please avoid bringing unnecessary items as it slows down the security check.
5. There are no lockers to store materials.
6. Keep excess items in your vehicle or on the bus.
7. Both Indian and stadium food will be available for purchase throughout the program.
8. Parking is $15, payable at the gate for Nassau Coliseum.
9. The program is expected to end at 1:00 PM.

During this visit of PM Narendra Modi to the US, 297 antiquities smuggled out of the country were handed over to India. This takes the total number of antiquities recovered by India since 2014 to 640. The total number of antiquities returned from the USA alone will be 578.

2. India commits to invest $2 million in new solar projects in Fiji, Comoros, Madagascar, and Seychelles. Japan has committed to $122 million grants and loans, both public and private, in renewable energy projects in the Indo-Pacific.
3. The United States, through the DFC, has extended a $250 million loan to Tata Power Solar to construct a solar cell manufacturing facility and a $500 million loan to First Solar to construct and operate a solar module manufacturing facility in India, and continues to seek opportunities to mobilize private capital to solar, as well as wind, cooling, batteries, and critical minerals to expand capacity and diversify supply chains.
4. India announces a new initiative to award fifty Quad scholarships, worth $500,000, to students from the Indo-Pacific to pursue a 4-year undergraduate engineering program at a Government of India-funded technical institution.
1. The US Coast Guard, Japan Coast Guard, Australian Border Force, and Indian Coast Guard plan to launch a first-ever Quad-at-Sea Ship Observer Mission in 2025 in the Indo-Pacific to improve interoperability.
2. The Quad welcomes India’s establishment of a space-based web portal for Mauritius to support the concept of open science for space-based monitoring of extreme weather events and climate impact.
3. The Quad plans to coordinate its efforts to promote equitable access to safe, effective, quality-assured mpox vaccines, including where appropriate expanding vaccine manufacturing in low and middle-income countries.
4. Quad countries, through the Standards Sub-Group, launched two Track 1.5 dialogues on AI and Advanced Communications Technologies to promote international standardization cooperation, including frameworks for AI conformity assessment.
5. The Quad partners look forward to launching the BioExplore Initiative – a joint effort supported by an initial $2 million in funding to use AI technology to study and analyze biological ecosystems across all four countries.
PM Narendra Modi emplaned for New York from Philadelphia airport on Saturday night (local time) after attending the Quad Summit. He will attend the Summit of the Future (SOTF) at the United Nations on Sunday. The Prime Minister will chair some key bilateral meetings in New York during the visit.
