GIFT CITY – AN INVESTING OASIS?

If you’re a company, Gujarat International Finance Tec-City, or GIFT City for short, is where you want to be. At least, that's what the government wants you to believe. Even prior to launching in 2015 as a special economic zone (SEZ), some companies rushed to set up offices there. But since then, progress has been slow. Since the pandemic, companies have begun to move to Gandhinagar, as the government has increased benefits. The game-changer came in 2024, when the GIFT City exchange allowed listed companies to appear on both the Indian and foreign markets.
