Contestants in Squid Game were enticed by promises of wealth, unaware of the life-threatening risks involved. Similarly, real-life scammers lure victims with promises of easy gains, only to exploit and harm them.

Despite the casualties in Squid Game, the contestants continued to gamble with their lives for the grand prize; emphasising the need to value life over wealth, as money can only be earned if one is still alive.  

In the deadly game, survival instincts often overshadow emotions and relationships like the mother-son separation and the Front Man choking a fellow contestant, highlighting the drive to stay alive can overpower even the deepest connections.
