In the Delhi-NCR region, an average of 105 car theft cases were reported last year, with the majority occurring on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

Chennai experienced a significant surge in vehicle theft last year, making it the second most unsafe city in the country in this regard, with a spike of 10.5%.
