INFOSYS FOUNDER DONATES RS 315 CRORES TO HIS ALMA-MATER

Infosys’ Nandan Nilekani donated 315 crore to IIT Bombay to mark his 50 years of association with the institute. 
Infosys is an Indian multinational IT company that provides business consulting, information technology and outsourcing services.

Nandan Nilekani is an Indian entrepreneur and was one of the 7 engineers that founded Infosys in 1981.

In his statement, he states that IIT-Bombay was a cornerstone in his life and the donation is more than a financial contribution to him but a tribute.
