Zomato's new approach to prevent rash driving

Zomato has started rolling out delivery bags with "hotline phone number" to report rash driving by its delivery partners

Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal had talked about the step at the company's annual general meeting in August

He had said that the company would put a phone number on the bags of its delivery partners for people to call and report if any one of them were found to be speeding

Goyal shared the information via a Twitter post saying the company doesn't incentivise delivery partners for on-time deliveries nor penalizes them for late ones 

Goyal says Zomato does not even tell its delivery partners what the estimated delivery time is

Zomato had faced criticism in March this year after it had announced plans to roll out 10-minute delivery
