Most exit polls such as Chanakya Strategies, Pradeep Gupta's Axis My India, P-MARQ predicted a return of the BJP-led Mahayuti government, crediting the government's pro-poor and women schemes such as ‘Ladki Bahin’ just ahead of the Maharashtra Election Results. The MVA is expected to close the gap as the Maharashtra Election Results are declared on November 23. Maharashtra Election Results Live: NCP leader Ajit Pawar Monday told media that the Mahayuti alliance leaders are discussing to form the government.
Speaking to reporters at Karad in Satara district, Pawar also acknowledged the contribution of the government's Ladki Bahin scheme, which provides financial assistance to women, in the Mahayuti's victory in the just-concluded state assembly polls.

Maharashtra Election Results Live: NCP leader Ajit Pawar on Monday priased Ladki Bahin Yojana and acknowledged that the scheme had helped the Mahayuti alliance in securing victory in the state.

Maharashtra Election Results Live: Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde was unanimously elected as the legislative party leader, reported ANI on Sunday.
The resolution was moved by Shiv Sena leader Uday Samant in the party meeting chaired by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
After the meeting of Shiv Sena leaders, Uday Samant said that the party leaders have decided to give all authority to Eknath Shinde to decide on the cabinet and swearing-in process.
Maharashtra Election Results Live: NCP working president Praful Patel on Sunday announced that Ajit Pawar has been elected as the leader of the party.
This announcement was made during a meeting with the party's newly elected MLAs. Ajit Pawar, who now leads a faction of the NCP that broke away from Sharad Pawar's leadership, was formally chosen as the party's leader in the meeting.
"Today a meeting of the NCP's newly elected MLAs was held. We welcomed all the MLAs and we also elected Ajit Pawar as the leader of the party...We also appealed to him to take further decisions regarding the party...," he said.

Maharashtra Election Results Live: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday spoke to senior leaders of Maharashtra BJP and the winning candidates over the phone and congratulated them on this achievement.
According to Pushkar Singh Dhami the people of Maharashtra reposed faith in the development work done by the BJP. He claimed that the mantra of Prime Minister Narendra Modi “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas" has immense support across the country," reported ANI.
Maharashtra Election Results Live: NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal on Sunday said, "All the three parties will sit together and decide who will be our leader. We three parties will sit together and decide who will become the Chief Minister. Ajit Pawar can also become the CM, his strike rate is very good," ANI reported.
He further informed that in the NCP meeting today it was unanimously decided that Ajit Pawar will serve as the leader of party in the Vidhan. He mentioned that the decision about the CM will be determined by the three parties together.

Maharashtra Election Results Live: BJP MP Kangana Ranaut on Sunday launched a scathing attack at the opposition alliance and the MVA with "daitya."
The actor-turned politician said, "I expected such a bad failure of Uddhav Thackeray. We can identify who is a 'devta (god)' and who is a 'daitya (satan)' depending on if they respect women or work for their welfare," reported PTI.
Uddhav Thackeray faced the same fate as "daitya", the Mandi MP said.
Kangana Ranaut alleged that the opposition demolished her home and verbally abused her. She added, “Those who do not respect women can never win."

Maharashtra Election Results Live: Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule on Sunday said, the state's next chief minister "decision would be taken by the Mahayuti leaders and the BJP's parliamentary board," reported PTI.
While addressing a press conference on November 24, Chandrashekhar Bawankule said the people of Maharashtra have rejected the Congress as he pointed to Nana Patole's win. Notably, BJP's state unit chief Nana Patole won by a narrow margin of around 200 votes in Sakoli seat.
