Late MP Ram Sharma's wife, Pratibha, decided not to run for office after Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut announced her candidacy from Mandi. However, the locals believed that Kangana's victory in Mandi could only be attributed to Modi's influence.
Veteran actor Anupam Kher congratulated Kangana Ranaut on her anticipated victory. On Tuesday, Anupam shared a video on his X account featuring Kangana with the song "Jugni" from her National Award-winning film "Queen" playing in the background.

Kangana posted a heartfelt note on Instagram, stating that "the victory belongs to the people of Mandi."
"We fought this election in the name of Narendra Modi. It is the result of his credibility and his guarantee and the faith of people in him that we are going to form the government for the third time..."
