“I think you see that in his policies," Jean-Pierre said. “And so, you know, respectfully disagree with the senator, and I think you can talk to unions, you could see the jobs that we’ve been able to create to disprove that."
Kamala Harris and Tim Walz won Minnesota’s presidential vote, with Harris securing 50.88% of the vote compared to Trump’s 46.66%.
Despite the statewide Democratic win, Donald Trump and JD Vance won Blue Earth County with 49.9% of the vote, narrowly beating Harris and Walz, who received 48.18%.
Blue Earth County is significant to Gov. Tim Walz, as it’s where he first entered politics. Walz represented Minnesota’s 1st Congressional District, which includes Blue Earth County, from 2006 to 2019.
Trump garnered 18,002 votes in Blue Earth County, while Harris and Walz earned 17,558 votes.
