Reliance Infrastructure Limited is engaged in the business of engineering and construction. The Company operates through three segments: Power, Engineering and Construction (E&C) and Infrastructure. The Power segment is engaged in generation, transmission, and distribution of electrical power at various locations. It operates approximately 220 megawatt (MW) combined cycle power plant at Samalkot, a 48 MW combined cycle power plant at Mormugao, and a 9.39 MW Windfarm at Chitradurga. It supplies power to residential, industrial, commercial, and other consumers. The E&C segment renders value added services in construction, erection, commissioning and contracting. The infrastructure segment includes businesses with respect to development, operation and maintenance of toll roads, metro rail transit system, and airports. It is also involved in implementation, operation, and maintenance of several projects in the defense sector and infrastructural areas through its special purpose vehicles.
