Stocks like Capacite Infraproject, Parag Milk Foods, McLeod Russel record big deals on Thursday; check bulk deals detail

Capacite Infraproject Ltd, Parag Milk Foods Ltd, and McLeod Russel India Ltd, are some of the prominent stocks that witnessed large deals on Thursday, as per the exchanges bulk and block data. Many major domestic and foreign investors also participated in these transactions.

Block deals refer to single trades with a 5 lakh share minimum or a value of ₹10 crore. When two parties agree to buy and sell at least this many shares at the same price, it occurs.

A bulk deal is a transaction in which at least 5% of a company's total equity shares are traded all at once. These transactions can take place throughout the regular trading session, unlike block deals. Bulk transactions don't require the opening of a special window. Additionally, it is possible in the block deal window.

Bulk Deals

Parag Milk Foods Ltd

IDFC Infrastructure Fund 3 sold 1,294,511 shares of the Parag Milk Foods Ltd at ₹106.06 apiece on Bombay Stock Exchange on Thursday through a bulk deal. As of March 31, the investor held 2.06% stake in the company.

Shares of Parag Milk Foods Ltd closed at ₹106.67 per share on BSE, down 0.14%.

McLeod Russel India Ltd

Carbon Resources (P) Ltd sold 1,400,000 shares of the McLeod Russel India Ltd at ₹22.18 apiece on Bombay Stock Exchange on Thursday through a bulk deal. As of March 31, the investor held 5.03% stake in the company.

On the other side, Topgain Finance Pvt Ltd bought 600,000 shares for ₹22.30 apiece.

Shares of McLeod Russel India Ltd closed at ₹22.30 per share on BSE, up nearly 10%.

On NSE, Carbon Resources (P) Ltd sold 16,47,857 shares for ₹22.20 apiece. 

Capacite Infraproject Ltd

Investment company, New Quest Asia Investment II Ltd sold 17,21,080 shares of the Capacite Infraproject Ltd at ₹200 apiece on National Stock Exchange on Thursday through a bulk deal. As of March 31, the investor held 7.25% stake in the company.

On the other side, French-based multinational financial services company, Societe Generale bought 11,00,000 shares for ₹200 apiece.

Shares of Capacite Infraproject Ltd closed at ₹207 per share on NSE, up 1.40%.
