He adds that Pakistan’s civilian government has no real control, with terrorist groups holding sway, and criticizes the Pakistan Army chief’s statements as unprofessional and out of touch with reality. Soni points out that Pakistan provoked India despite Pahalgam being a peaceful region, calling the incident unnecessary. District Collector & Magistrate, Jaipur, dismissed as false the claims circulating on social media about explosions at Jaipur Airport. In a statement issued on X (formerly Twitter), the District Collector and Magistrate of Jaipur confirmed there were no explosions at the airport.

The government’s fact-checking arm, PIB Fact Check, also labelled the viral claims as fake. PIB Fact Check wrote on X: "Claims are circulating that explosions were heard at #Jaipur Airport. These claims are FAKE.”.
