India Pakistan News LIVE: Border Security Forces Constable Deepak Chingakham was killed during the cross-border firing by the Pakistan Rangers in RS Pura, Jammu division on May 10.

"DG BSF and All Ranks salute the supreme sacrifice made by Constable Deepak Chingakham in the line of duty. He was injured in cross border fire by Pakistan on 10th May 2025 along the International Boundary in the R S Pura area, Jammu. He succumbed to his injuries today, on 11th May 2025," BSF said in a post on X.

“We salute the supreme sacrifice made by BSF #Braveheart Constable(GD) Deepak Chimngakham in the service of the nation; he sustained fatal injuries during cross-border firing along the International Boundary in R S Pura area, District Jammu on 10 May 2025, and attained martyrdom,” the BSF said in a post on X. 

India Pakistan News LIVE: When asked about the Kashmir issues, DGMO Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai said that while we are not ready to engage on matters of Kashmir, “the only thing left on it is the Pok (Pakistan-occupied Kashmir).” 

As with the ‘de-escalation’ agreement, he said that India will not engage with any third country other than the Pakistan DGMO. 

“No third country or no third party is to be involved in this. India will not be ready to engage with anybody or any party other than the Pakistan DGMO,” he said.

“I pay my solemn homage to my five fallen colleagues and brothers from the armed forces and civilians who tragically lost their lives in Operation Sindoor. Our hearts go out to the bereaved families...Their sacrifices shall always be remembered,” he said.

India Pakistan News LIVE: Vice Admiral AN Pramod on Sunday said that If Pakistan decided to take any action, it knows what India is capable of doing. The Vice Admiral was responding to a question about Indian Navy's preparedness, during a special briefing on Operation Sindoor. 

“I will make few sentences and leave it to your imagination. We completely dominate the maritime front. This time if Pakistan dares take any action, it knows what we will do," he said. 

“Navy had full readiness, and has capacity to strike select targets at sea and on land, including Karachi,” he added. 

India Pakistan News LIVE: While responding to a question about the number of Pakistani planes that India shot down, Air Marshal AK Bharti said, “Have downed a few planes (Hi-Tech) and I would not like to put a figure at this time.”

India Pakistan News LIVE: DGMO Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai on Sunday said that his Pakistani counterpart had sent an urgent request for a ceasefire. He also said that the violations of the understanding were highlighted to the Pakistani DGMO.

India Pakistan News LIVE: The Director General of Military Operations (DGMOs) of all three service – Army, Navy, and Air Force – said when Pakistan sent drones in waves, India decided to strike where it “hurts most”. 

“We struck Pakistani air bases across the Western front,” they added. The three DGMOs were addressing a special briefing on Operation Sindoor on Sunday evening.
