Inside photos of Hina Khan’s visit to Mecca during Ramadan amid cancer treatment: ‘Perfect timing’

Hina Khan, the 37-year-old actress, who is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer, recently went on a pilgrimage tor to Mecca. Narrating the overwhelming experience, she shared some inside photos of her visit to Mecca. She visited the Islamic holy place to perform Umrah during the holy month of Ramadan.

Taking to social media platform Instagram, she stated, "Alhamdullilah Umrah 2025 Thank you for inviting me Allah.. overwhelmed and speechless. May Allah give me complete Shifa Ameen.

Hina Khan can be seen wearing a green traditional outfit called abaya, paired with headscarf and sunglasses. In one of the pictures, the actress was seen sitting on a floor in a corner of a room while the other photos depict her internalising and embracing the pilgrimage tour for Umrah.

The caption to one of the photos states, “All set for Umrah” as she gives a sneak peek into the spiritual journey. As per Umrah rituals, one has to perform circumambulation of the Kaaba. Females need to trim their hair while males have to shave their head as per custom. The actress also attached a picture of a few strands of hair on her hand and wrote, “Bus itne hi hain abhi (Only these are there so far)” which implies that actress lost most of her hair during cancer treatment.

In one of the photos, she wrote, “Thankful, grateful, blessed.” She ventured on the sacred tour with her brother as can be seen in the photo titled "The perfect timing."

On Saturday, she addressed concerns pertaining to discolouration of her nails. She suggested that nail discolouration is one of the most common side effects of chemotherapy which causes nails to become brittle and dry. Suggesting that this change is temporary, she wrote, “My nails have become brittle, dry and sometimes lift up from the nail bed. But But Buththth…You know what’s the good part…All of this is temporary. And remember we are healing.”
