A video from Pakistan has gone viral on social media. In it, a paraglider is attempting to salute a chief guest from a parachute. In an unexpected turn of events, his landing has left everybody in splits.

According to the video shared on X, the soldier can be seen descending with a parachute and releasing a series of red and blue smoke to salute the chief guest at the event. However, his landing fails as he crashes right in front of the stage where the guest sits.

Following this, the chief guest swiftly gets up from the seat and leaves. The incident is from November 2023, during the 76th Independence Day of Gilgit Baltistan, according to a report by Khaleej Times. 

The video has gone viral on social media, garnering over 360k views. Several social media reacted to the video.

“When you don’t focus on your core Job,” one of the users commented.

Another added, “These watchmen of ours can see the tunnels and perform tricks like monkeys on the orbits.”

“That landing was straight out of a Spider- Man movie-just like the Green Goblin!" commented another user.

One of the users said, "When the average Pakistani finds out free biryani is being distributed."

“Not a day goes by without Pakistan pulling off something like this,” said another user.

“This can only happen in Pakistan,” added another.

Recently, another video from the neighbouring country went viral. In it, a groom was seen donning a 35-foot garland from his brother. The garland was allegedly made from 2,000 currency notes totalling PKR 1 lakh, according to a report by Daily Guardian. It was prepared in the Kotla Jam area of Punjab, Pakistan. This grand gesture went viral on social media.

The garland is made from a combination of currency notes, flowers and ribbons.

Several social media users shared their reactions on X.

“This could only happen in Pakistan... I would love to share my country's folks creativity with netizens from all over the world,” one of the users said.

“He's wearing the entire country's GDP,” added another.
