Ed Sheeran's Delhi Concert: Watch as he surprises fans with Team India's Dream11 jersey ahead of CT 2025

Ed Sheeran, the British music icon known for hits like "Perfect" and "Shape of You," captivated fans with an unforgettable concert in Delhi NCR. The singer added a special touch for the Delhi fans by wearing a Team India's Dream11 jersey, showing support for the side as they prepare for the Champions Trophy 2025 in the UAE.

In the video, Sheeran is seen wearing a Team India jersey with the number 17 under his own name.

Thousands of people from various parts of the Delhi NCR turned up for Sheeran's final performance as part of the Mathematics Tour to India at the Leisure Valley Ground and he didn't disappoint. Sheeran began his Mathematics Tour to India in Pune on January 30, and has already performed in Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru and Shillong.

During the concert, he introduced the public to his loop station, which he uses to layer beats, harmonies, and guitar riffs in real time. And for the next two hours, he belted out hits after hits such as "Thinking Out Loud", "Photograph", "You Need Me, I Don't Need You", "Take It Back", "Don't", "Give Me Love", "Lego House", and a dozen more.

Ed Sheeran pauses 'Happier' performance after fan faints

According to PTI report, during the show, the singer briefly paused his performance on "Happier" after he noticed that someone fainted in the crowd. He also asked the security to check on the person. He exited the stage but resumed the show a minute a later.

The singer sung best of his tracks for the final moments. He first performed "Perfect", which was met with loud cheers from the audience. And then came “Shape of You,” and the singer wrapped up the concert by performing "Bad Habits".

During the show, he told the audience, “The last three weeks in India have been magical. I've learned a lot. Thank you for welcoming me and hopefully I will come back soon.”

Champions Trophy 2025

Rohit Sharma and co headed to Dubai for the upcoming Champions Trophy on February 15 amid heightened optimism of netting another global trophy after winning the T20 World Cup last June.

A Jasprit Bumrah-less India will open their campaign against Bangladesh on February 20 in Dubai before the much-anticipated blockbuster against traditional rivals Pakistan February 23, and then the Men in Blue will take on New Zealand on March 2 to round off their league engagements.
