California plane crash: One killed and three injured after small plane crashed shortly after takeoff

A single-engine plane crash in California left one person dead and three others injured on Tuesday, said South Calfornia officials.

The plane was carrying four people aboard. Out of the four, one person lost his life, whereas the other three are undergoing treatment. The Sessna 172 crashed immediately after taking off from French Valley Airport in Murrieta at 2:45 pm, said the Federal Aviation Administration. 
The televised images of the plane crash sowed the small aircraft upside down in a business parking lot, reported AP.

One passenger died at the spot about 85 miles, equal to 135 kilometres southeast of downtown Los Angeles, reported AP citing Riverside County Fire Department. Another passenger received severe injuries and is undergoing treatment in hospital with two co-passengers. The plane crash will be investigated by the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board.
