The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared Class 10 and 12 results today. Students can check results on official websites like cbseresults.nic.in, results.cbse.nic.in, cbse.gov.in, results.digilocker.gov.in and the UMANG app.

The Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj said Girls outshine boys by more than 5 percentage points in CBSE class 12 board exams. CBSE says 88.39 per cent students pass class 12 board exams, marginally up by last year's pass percentage.

CBSE Class 10, 12 results: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla congratulates students

CBSE Class 10, 12 results: Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma congratulates students

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, on Tuesday, extended wishes to all students who passed the CBSE Class 12th examinations, the results of which were declared earlier on Tuesday.

In a post on X, CM Sharma wrote, "Hearty congratulations and best wishes to all the students who have passed the class 12th examination results declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). This golden success is the result of your hard work, determination and tireless efforts."

While addressing the students who may not have received the expected results, the chief minister further added, "Also, students who did not get the expected results should not be disappointed. Both success and failure in life are means of learning. I pray to God for a bright future for all of you."

 

CBSE Class 10, 12 board results: No merit lists, divisions; certificates to top 0.1% students

The CBSE on Tuesday said it neither announces any merit list in Class 10 and 12 board exam results nor divisions are awarded to students to avoid any unhealthy competition.

While over 93% students cleared the Class 10 exams, the pass percentage in class 12 exams stood at 88.39%.

"As per an earlier decision by the board to avoid unhealthy competition amongst students, no merit list is prepared and declared by CBSE. Also, the board has not awarded first, second and third division to its students," CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj said.

"The board will issue merit certificates to the top 0.1 pc students who have scored the highest marks in the subjects. The merit certificates will be available in Digi-Locker of the students concerned," Bhardwaj added.

CBSE board results: 95% students clear class 10,12 exams in Delhi

In Delhi, 95% of the students cleared the class 10 and 12 board exams.

The overall pass percentage in Delhi for class 12 stood at 95.18%.

A total of 96.71% of girls cleared the class 12 exam, compared to 93.76% boys.

For class 10, overall pass percentage was 95.14%.

Girls' pass percentage for class 10 exam was 95.71% and boys' 93.98%.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Tuesday said that the CBSE Board examinations are being conducted in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, focusing on competency-based assessment.

In a post on X, Pradhan stated that the exams emphasize leveraging technology to improve accessibility and ease for students. 

"CBSE Board exams are conducted in alignment with NEP 2020, with emphasis on competency-based assessment leveraging technology for accessibility and ease," Pradhan said.

Congress president Kharge praises students for clearing class 10th, 12th exams

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Tuesday congratulated the class 10th and 12th students who passed their CBSE examinations, whose results were declared earlier in the day.

Kharge shared a post on his official 'X' handle hailed the students for their success. In his post, the Congress president expressed the "deep gratitude" and "support" to the parents, teachers and others to the students.

"My heartiest congratulations to all students who have successfully cleared the CBSE Standard X and XII examinations. May your future pursuits be even more successful. I also express my deep gratitude to the parents, guardians, and teachers for their invaluable support. To those who experienced setbacks, please do not get disheartened, and keep working hard. Hardwork never disappoints. This is only a journey. Keep working for India's future. Best wishes", Kharge wrote in his 'X' post.

How to check CBSE Class 10, 12 results on the official website?

  1. Check the official website at cbse.gov.in.

2. Tap on the CBSE Class 10 or 12 board Result 2025 link on the homepage.

3. Fill your credentials to login

4. Click on submit.

5. You can view the result displayed on the screen.

6. Download the result and keep a printout of the same for further references.

CBSE Class 10, 12 results 2025: How to check on DigiLocker?

  1. Check the DigiLocker’s official website: digilocker.gov.in.

2. Login with your required credentials or sign up for a new account if you don’t already have one.

3. Navigate to the CBSE Results section, usually placed under the “Education” or “Results” tab.

4. Mention your CBSE roll number, school number, and other necessary details according to instructions.

5. After putting the details, you should be able to view your Class 10 or Class 12 results.

CBSE Class 10, 12 results: Know about the DigiLocker access code

CBSE has given a 6-digit access PIN to schools through their DigiLocker accounts. These PINs will be shared individually with students by their respective schools. The PIN is required to access digital documents like marksheets through Parinam Manjusha, CBSE’s official repository developed in partnership with NeGD.

What to do if you are not happy with your CBSE Class 10, 12 results?

If a student is unsatisfied with the results, he/she can apply for revaluation or rechecking of answer scripts.

Students can obtain answer sheets' photocopies before applying for verification/re-evaluation

The board's new change in its post-result activities includes permitting students to obtain photocopies of answer sheets prior to applying for verification/re-evaluation. Earlier, students applied for verification of marks first after applying for photocopies of answer sheets and then re-evaluation of their results.

According to CBSE the new system gives students a chance to view their answer sheets prior to applying for re-checking which will give them clarity on the marks received, specific remarks and any errors made.

"A candidate after obtaining photocopy of evaluated answer book in the first step can decide whether to opt for Verification of marks which entails posting/totaling of marks or any unevaluated questions or Re-evaluation whereby the candidate requests for re-evaluation of a question or questions thereof. A candidate can apply for either Verification of marks or Re-evaluation or both as per due procedure after obtaining-photocopy of answer book,” CBSE stated.

When were CBSE Class 10, Class 12 exams conducted this year?

CBSE’s Class 10 board exams began on February 15 and concluded on March 1. These exams took place in single shifts, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm on all exam days, whereas for the Class 12 board examination from, it was held between February 15 to April 4, 2025, and was held in single shifts from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm on all days. Over 42 lakh students sat for the CBSE board examinations this year.

CBSE Class 10, 12 results 2025: What is the minimum percentage to pass?

Students must secure 33% marks by combining both theory and internal assessments to qualify class 10 exams, whereas for Class 12, students must attain 33% marks separately in both theory and practical exams.

CBSE Class 10 results 2025: What to do if you don't clear all subjects?

If you find that you haven't passed one or two subjects in the CBSE Class 10 Board Exams 2025, there's no need to worry. The Board offers a chance to appear in the CBSE Class 10 Compartment Exams 2025. A separate date sheet for these exams will be released to help students plan and prepare effectively.

CBSE Class 12 results 2025: Last year's pass percentage

A total of 16,21,224 students sat for the Class 12 exams, out of which 14,26,420 students successfully cleared. The overall pass percentage stood at 87.98%. This was slight better from the 87.33% pass rate recorded in 2023. Girls continued to outperform boys with a pass percentage of 91.52%, in comparison to 85.12% for boys. Additionally, over 24,000 students scored above 95%, while over one lakh students attained scores more than 90%.
