Rana Sugars Limited is an India-based company that is engaged in the manufacturing of sugar, distillery and co-generation of power. The Company's segments include Sugar, Power and Distillery. Its sugar segment manufactures and sells sugar, molasses and bagasse. The Company has sugar manufacturing facilities at three locations in India, such as Buttar (Punjab), Moradabad and Rampur (Uttar Pradesh). Its distillery segment manufactures ethanol and liquor with the basic raw materials, namely, molasses and grain. The Company has two manufacturing facilities in India, namely, Laukha (Punjab), manufacturing Ethanol as well as liquor, and Belwara (Uttar Pradesh), manufacturing Ethanol only. Its power segment consumes the byproduct bagasse from the sugar process and co-generates the power. This segment also procures fuel from outside to generate power.
