TN SSLC, HSE +1 Result 2025 LIVE: The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) has activated link to view the result for Class 11 after declaring Class 10, 11 results earlier today. Students can check results at tnresults.nic.in, and dge.tn.gov.in.
Over 17 lakh students keenly awaited for their Tamil Nadu Board Results this year. Tamil Nadu Class 10 exam took place from March 28 to April 15, 2025. Nearly 9.08 lakh students registered for the SSLC (Class 10) exams, and approximately 8.94 lakh students gave the offline pen-and-paper exams.
Students who do not pass the TN HSE 1 exams will have the opportunity to take the supplementary exams. The dates for the TN supplementary exams will be announced after the result declaration.

3. Mention the date of birth and registration number in the relevant fields.
4. Select the ‘Get Marks’ button to move forward.
5. The TN HSE +1 result 2025 will show on the screen.
6. Download and take a printout of the TN HSE +1 result for later purposes.

A total of 15652 students were absent for the Class 10 exam.
The Class 10 pass percentage got better by 2.25%, in comparison to 91.55 per cent last year.

The Tamil Nadu HSE board has ceased ‘advertising’ or announcing the names of the top ranked students. Instead, it declares the city or district which sees the highest pass percentage. As per the DGE, the move focusses on avoiding ‘unhealthy’ competition.
Science recorded 95.08 per cent, Commerce 87.33 per cent, Art 77.94 per cent and Vocational 78.31 per cent.

A single transgender student sat and passed the Class 11 exam.
3,82,488 boys appeared, out of which 3,39,283 passed. The passing percentage is 88.70 per cent, whereas 4,24,610 girls sat for the exam, out of which 4,03,949 cleared it. The pass percentage stands at 95.13 per cent.
A total of 8,07,098 students sat for the HSE+1 exam in Tamil Nadu, of whom 7,43,232 cleared. The overall pass percentage stands at 92.09 per cent.
The Tamil Nadu Board has released Class 11th result but the link is likely to be activated at 2 pm.

Private schools saw the highest pass percentage at 97.99%, indicating strong academic outcomes. Government-aided schools have also achieved well with a pass rate of 93.63%, whereas Government schools recorded a pass percentage of 91.26%.
Girls have once again outshined boys with an incredible pass percentage of 95.88% as 4,17,183 girls passed the Class 10 exam. On the other side, Boys saw a pass percentage of 91.74%, with 4,00,078 boys passing the examination. A total of 8,17,261 have successfully cleared.
The Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu, has announced that 93.80% of students passed the Class 10 SSLC Board Exams 2025, indicating a strong overall performance statewide. This pass percentage shows a slight improvement over last year, highlighting steady academic progress across various districts.
The Tamil Nadu Board has declared Class 10 result.
The Class 10 result will be out at 9:10 am, says the official website.
“In accordance with the directive of the Honorable Chief Minister @mkstalin, we are releasing the results of the 10th and 11th standard public examinations for the 2024-25 academic year on 16.05.2025 at 9 AM,” Education Minister Anbil said.
Minimum 35 marks out of 100 in each subject is required, with at least 20 marks in the theory paper. Students must meet both criteria to qualify each subject.
