Dividend stocks: As stock market opens for trade on Tuesday, positional investors would be looking at some income beyond movement of their portfolio stocks. For, such stock market investors, it would be interesting to know that eight stocks are going to trade ex-dividend today. Those eight dividend paying stocks are Thangamayil Jewellery, Bombay Oxygen, Sagarsoft, Silicon Rental, Welspun India, Supreme Petrochem, Anant Raj and Shriram Pistons.

Thangamayil Jewellery is trading ex-dividend today for payment of ₹6 per share final dividend for the financial year 2022-23. Bombay Oxygen has declared final dividend of ₹15 per share while Sagarsoft is trading ex-dividend today for ₹2 per share final dividend payment for FY23. The board of directors of Silicon Rental has declared Re 1 per share dividend whereas Welspun India will finalise eligible shareholders for payment of ₹0.10 per share final dividend. Supreme Petrochem board has declared ₹7 per share final dividend whereas Anant Raj has declared ₹0.50 per share dividend.

Informing Indian stock market bourses about the dividend payment, Supreme Petrochem said, "The Board of Directors of the Company at the meeting held on April 26, 2023 at Solitaire Corporate Park, Building No. 11,sth Floor, 167, Guru Hargovindji Marg, Chakala, Andheri (East), Mumbai - 400 093 have inter-alia transacted/approved the following items of business: Recommended a final dividend of Rs. 7/- (Seven) per equity share for the Financial Year ended March 31,2023, subject to approval of members in the ensuing Annual General Meeting of the Company."

On record date for dividend,  said, "The shareholders of the Company who hold shares as of the close of business hours on Tuesday, June 27,2023 (viz the record date) will be eligible for a final dividend."

Similarly, Bombay Oxygen informed Indian exchanges about ₹15 per share dividend payment declaration citing, “We wish to inform you that the Board of Directors at its meeting held on 23rd May, 2023 has recommended for consideration of the members at the Annual General Meeting to be held on 4th July, 2023 for payment of dividend of Rs. 15/- (previous year Rs.20/-) per Equity Share. The dividend, if sanctioned, at the Annual General Meeting will be made payable to those members whose name stand in the register of members of the Company on 27th June, 2023.”
