The combined market capitalisation of five of the top-10 most valued firms declined by ₹93,357.52 crore, with IT giants Infosys and Tata Consultancy Services taking the biggest hit, in line with a weak trend in domestic equities.
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS): The valuation of TCS surged by ₹68,463.11 crore, reaching ₹12,55,526.17 crore.
State Bank of India (SBI): SBI's market capitalization increased by ₹44,947.63 crore, totaling ₹5,11,603.69 crore.
Reliance Industries: The company's valuation rose by ₹32,239.78 crore, amounting to ₹16,77,728.89 crore.
HDFC Bank: The bank's market cap grew by ₹27,491.56 crore, reaching ₹11,71,918.45 crore.
ICICI Bank: ICICI Bank saw an increase of ₹16,794.14 crore in its valuation, totaling ₹6,52,942.31 crore.
Bharti Airtel: The telecom giant's market capitalization went up by ₹12,586.72 crore, reaching ₹4,47,866.92 crore.
ITC: ITC's valuation increased by ₹7,731.02 crore, totaling ₹4,46,898.73 crore.
Infosys: The company's market capitalization declined by ₹7,799.72 crore, standing at ₹5,86,548.17 crore.
Hindustan Unilever: The FMCG major's valuation decreased by ₹5,252.35 crore, totaling ₹5,97,879.43 crore.
Bajaj Finance: The company's market cap reduced by ₹1,102.68 crore, amounting to ₹4,21,673.25 crore.
Despite these fluctuations, Reliance Industries remained the most valued company, followed by TCS, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and Infosys.
