For the the quarter ended March, Pfizer Ltd's standalone net profit rose 3.1% on year to ₹129.65 crore from ₹125.79 crore during the same period last year. The company's revenue from operations for Q4FY23 stood at ₹572.64 crore , up 4.2% on year from ₹549.66 crore in Q4FY22. On Monday, Pfizer share price closed at ₹3,816.80, up ₹26.05 or 0.69% on BSE.
The company has declared final dividend of ₹35 per share and special dividend of ₹5 per share for the FY23.
“The board of directors has at its meeting held today has recommended a final dividend of ₹35 per equity share of ₹10 each (350%) and a special dividend of ₹5 per equity share of ₹10 each (50%) in view of the gain on sale of business undertaking at Thane, aggregating to total dividend of ₹40 per equity share of ₹10 each (400%) for the financial year ended March 31, 2023,” said the company in its exchange filing.
On a sequential basis, net profit for the fourth quarter of FY23 dropped by about 14%, from ₹150.66 crore to ₹129.65 crore. In a similar vein, revenue from operations decreased by about 8% from ₹621.75 crore.
For FY23, the company's net profit rose nearly 2% to ₹623.93 from ₹612.56 crore in FY22.
From ₹2,674 crore in the fiscal year 2021–2022 to ₹2,526 crore in the most recent fiscal, total income decreased.
