The GRAP Stage 4 guidelines come into effect from today, to curb pollution. Yesterday, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi announced that physical classes will be discontinued for all students till class 9. However, Class 10 and 12 will have to attend physical classes. All schools will hold online classes, until further orders, she added.
Stage 4 GRAP measures include a ban on construction activities and non-essential commercial operations. The entry of Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) from outside Delhi, except for electric, CNG, or BS-VI diesel models, will be prohibited unless they are delivering essential goods or services.

The following office timings shall be effective in all offices under the Government of NCT of Delhi and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi until 28th February 2025. Offices under Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD): 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Offices under Government of NCT of Delhi (GNCTD): 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

Delhi AQI LIVE updates: Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai on Monday held a meeting with HoDs of all concerned departments for effective implementation of GRAP-IV in Delhi.
After the meeting, Rai said, as ANI quoted, "At its level, Delhi govt is taking all possible steps. We have directed all officials to ensure strict implementation of GRAP (Graded Response Action Plan) IV guidelines. I demand that the Central government take emergency measures so that the whole of north India can be saved from this situation..."
Delhi AQI LIVE updates: The Supreme Court on Monday directed the curbs under Stage 4 of GRAP in Delhi and NCR to continue till further orders of the court even if AQI comes under 450.
Delhi and NCR to take a call on stopping physical classes for all students including Classes 10 and 12. It said.

Among other things, teams to be constituted by Delhi and NCR states for implementing GRAP Stage 4 curbs. While, CAQM will deal with complaints of citizens regarding violations of Stage 4 curbs.
Next hearing will take place on Friday, 22 November, when the court will consider passing further orders.

Speaking to ANI, he said, "After a rise in the pollution level in Delhi, we had called a meeting of senior officers of departments concerned at 12 noon for implementation of GRAP IV. But there is such negligence that despite the pollution level rising to such dangerous levels, no senior officer reached the meeting. Neither the Transport Commissioner nor MCD Commissioner or Principal Secretary PWD or Special Commissioner Traffic or important HoDs of various meeting arrived for the meeting. So, we had to cancel the meeting. We have sent notices to these leaders once again for a 3 pm meeting..."
