IKEA India joins hands with HDFC Bank by launching a hassle-free and convenient consumer financing option for all its customers. The partnership aims to give customers a convenient and cost-effective method to buy their favourite home furnishing products.

Commenting on the collaboration, Elena Pogosova, Country Commercial Manager, IKEA India said, "We are extremely delighted to partner with HDFC Bank to provide an easy financing option for our customers. We understand that buying furniture can be a significant investment, and our aim is to make it affordable and accessible to everyone. This collaboration is a step in the direction of achieving our goal of making the better everyday life for many people.”

As part of the collaboration, IKEA will provide its customers with an EMI-based financing option. This would help the customers to purchase furniture and home decor products in instalments without facing any financial challenges. The financing option includes a combination of no-cost (0%) and low-cost (up to 10%) EMI options with terms ranging from 3 months to 30 months which will accommodate all kinds of home furnishing needs of the customers. The customers must provide their KYC information to the HDFC bank agent at the IKEA stores if they wish to redeem this financing option. This new consumer financing option will be available at all IKEA stores in India and shall be available online soon. Customers can choose the financing option that best suits their needs and pay the price with easy EMIs.

Earlier this year, the company announced lower prices for products across categories including store and organise furniture, storage solutions, living room seating, bedroom furniture, office storage, kitchen accessories, children’s storage, etc. This is a long-term initiative for IKEA to strengthen its affordability agenda. Additionally, IKEA is also offering a5-year limited warranty for frames and sofa cushions, armchairs, sleeper sofas, and ottomans.
