“India is a major voice on the world stage and major voice of the global south. One huge purpose of this Summit is actually to really to make sure that international cooperation represents and serves the people of the global south much more effectively than it has been doing so far. So, whether that's on Security Council reform and looking at how the Security Council functions or how the international financial architecture functions. India has been a huge voice in pushing for the kinds of change that this Summit holds to deliver," Griffin said.
PM Modi on Sunday addressed the Indian community in New York's Nassau Coliseum and called them India's 'strong' brand ambassador. The Prime Minister said that he has set very ambitious goals in his third term to make the country a developed nation and asserted that India today is a land of opportunities. The Prime Minister added that India doesn't want its supremacy in the world but to increase cooperation for the prosperity of the world.
The next Quad Leaders’ Summit hosted by India in 2025. Besides, Mumbai may host a Quad Regional Ports and Transportation Conference in 2025, a White House press release said.
PM Modi, who landed at Philadelphia International Airport, was welcomed by Indian community with cultural dance performances. The Prime Minister met US President Joe Biden on the sidelines of the Quad summit to deepen India-US relations. Modi will be hold bilateral meetings with other leaders as well and will be attending the Quad summit. He is also expected to meet US presidential candidate Donald Trump ahead of US elections in November.

Quad member countries' ministers of commerce and industry are set to meet for the first time in the months ahead, and on the agenda will be critical topics such as semiconductor supply chains and emerging technologies, a White House official said on Monday.
"There was a memorandum of cooperation between Quad countries for the semiconductor supply chain contingency network. We also expect semiconductors and critical and emerging technology issues at large, to be a topic of discussion when quad Commerce and Industry ministers meet for the first time in the coming months," National Security Council Director for Indo-Pacific Affairs Josh Rubin said.

On the occasion of the visit of PM Narendra Modi to the US, the US side facilitated the return of 297 antiquities that had been stolen or trafficked from India. These will shortly be repatriated to India.
The antiquities belong to a period spanning almost 4000 years, from 2000 BCE – 1900 CE and have origins in different parts of India. Majority of the antiquities are terracotta artefacts from Eastern India, while others are made in stone, metal, wood and ivory and belong to different parts of the country.
