US Election 2024: Indian billionaire and the Chairman of Adani Group, Gautam Adani, congratulated Republican candidate Donald Trump on his historic win in the U.S. Presidential Elections 2024.
Adani extended his wishes through a post on the social media platform X and said that, according to him, if there is one person on Earth who sets an example for an embodiment of unbreakable tenacity, unshakeable grit, relentless determination, it is Donald Trump.
“If there is one person on Earth who stands as the embodiment of unbreakable tenacity, unshakeable grit, relentless determination and the courage to stay true to his beliefs, it is Donald Trump,” said Adani in his post on platform X.
Adani also appreciated Donald Trump for his courage and for staying true to his beliefs in his post. The billionaire also talked about America's democracy, which empowers its people to uphold the country's founding principles.
“Fascinating to see America’s democracy empower its people and uphold the nation's founding principles. Congratulations to the 47th POTUS-elect,” said Gautam Adani in his post on platform X.
According to the US media agencies, Donald Trump has secured 277 electoral votes, crossing the required threshold to become the official President-elect. However, the final meeting of the Electoral College will be in December at which electors will officially vote and declare a President.
The news portal Guardian reported that Kamala Harris won 66,264,540 votes, while Trump won 71,202,731 votes (51%) votes in the election results.
There have been cases when a presidential candidate won with the popular votes but lost to the electoral votes. Trump won the popular vote on Wednesday, November 6. The early election trends predicted a positive outcome for Republican candidate Donald Trump in the US Presidential Polls in 2024.
Along with Adani, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, people from all over the world congratulated the Republican, as he looks forward to make a White House comeback.
