IPL 2024 Purple Cap: Punjab Kings (PBKS) pacer Harshal Patel is on the top of the highest wicket-taker list in IPL 2024 after briefly losing his position to Mumbai Indians star pacer Jasprit Bumrah. Harshal Patel became the most economical bowler for his team during PBKS vs RR on 15 May, clinching two wicket and conceding 28 runs.
As IPL 2024 draws close to the closure mark, the list of highest-wicket takers is witnessing some sharp changes. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) pacer Harshit Rana is at the 10th rank. The pacer has clinched 16 wickets in 10 matches and conceded 332 runs in IPL 2024.
On number 9 is Delhi Capital's spinner Kuldeep Yadav who has taken 16 wickets in the 11 matches and leaked 374 runs. CSK's pacer Tushar Deshpande is on the 8th rank in the race for the prestigious Purple Cap as the pacer has dismissed 16 batters in 12 matches and gave 375 runs in the season.
Delhi Capitals' star pacer Mukesh Kumar is on the 7th rank as the pacer has dismissed 17 batters in 10 matches and gave 368 runs in the season.
PBKS's Arshdeep Singh is in the 6th position with 17 wickets in 13 matches, and he leaked 468 runs, while DC's pacer Khaleel Ahmed is in 5th position with 17 wickets in 14 games after giving 479 runs in the tournament.
Rajasthan Royals' spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is at the 4th spot with 17 wickets in 13 matches after conceding 469 runs.
